Battle Forces dropped today! As exciting as this all is let's take a quick look at these 4 new battle forces and what this all means.
Each battle force can only take units and upgrades within a specific "theme".
Each battle force comes with 3 unique command cards they can use.
Each battle force will have their own force organization for which units they can take.
The battle forces we will look at today are all associated with one of the 4 main factions in the game, meaning they can take any faction specific command cards. This is not the case for all battle forces though (I.e. Shadow Collective)
501st Legion
Faction – Galactic Army of the Republic (AKA Clones)
Recommended Watch: Star Wars: The Clone Wars (S4: E7-10)

Additionally the Blizzard Force Battle Force unit has gained a new Stormtrooper Corp unit card just for them.
These Stormtroopers are a 3 man squad that must equip 2 heavy weapon upgrades.
*Note you may one run 0-2 of these.
– What's This Mean? –
Battle Forces are now out and you can freely print and play all of these cards. Battle Force Boxes are slated to be out this fall. Time will tell how amazing this Battle Forces are, but one thing is for sure: this is an exciting way for players to buy in to Star Wars Legion. $150 Battle Box for a fully playable 800pt army. Contents of each box are listed below.
